In this section, you will learn how to choose a mobile and items after you have joined a room. There are several classifications for the mobiles: Armour, Laser and Bionical. To choose a mobile, click on its picture at the bottom left-hand side of the screen. When you have selected a mobile, your avatar should now be sitting on the mobile (there is also a random option which randomly picks a mobile).

You may now select your items (bottom right-hand side of the screen). Each item is used for a different purpose. There are items which use one slot and items which use two slots. In total, you have six slots and how you fill them up depends on which items you think you will need. For more information about the mobiles and items, refer to the Gunbound website under the 'About Gunbound' heading.

After you have chosen your mobile and items, click ready and wait for the game to start (this is called 'readying up'). If you are the 'key' of the room (administrator), you will need to wait until everyone else is ready.

Shooting is the main skill required in playing the game of Gunbound. What button you use to shoot depends on what setting you have it on. If it is set on drag, you use your mouse and drag while holding down the left mouse button. The more you drag the mouse, the more the shot bar goes up and as the shot bar goes up, the strength of the shot increases (will travel a further distance). If it is set to slice, then you will need to use the space button. The longer you hold it down, the stronger the shot.

To change from drag to slice or vice versa, press esc while in-game. The configuration screen will pop up and you can choose from there.

There are several other factors that you will need to consider when shooting, but they usually come from practice. Such as how wind affects your shot and the angle of the shot.
