You are able to chat both in-game and not on gunbound. It is useful to invite people to play a game with you and to meet new people who you can add to your buddy list.

Chatting on the server your in is as easy as typing in the chat window located on the bottom left of the screen. It is also the same when you're in the game room and in game, but the only people who can read the message are those in the same room as you. While in game, you have the option of speaking to everyone in your room or just those people on your team.

To view your buddy list while out of game, simply click the buddy button located at the bottom of the screen. While in-game however, to view the buddy list you need to press F10. But this may be troublesome as it covers up part of your game screen.

To add another player to your buddy list, click the add button at the top of the window and type in their username. If they give you permission to add them to our buddy list, they will then show up on your buddy list. The buddy list also tells you whether they are playing a game and which server they are on when they are online.
